BIOGRAPHY of Clyde James Aragon
Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, he is the author of the humor books Tales of Delight and Shame, The PC Affair, and Abandon All Hope! - cheerful humor for impossible days. His prose humor has appeared in national magazines and many southwestern newspapers and magazines. He has also produced greeting card material and composed crossword puzzles including a bilingual one for Hispanic Magazine which ran for seven years His radio plays have been produced by Albuquerque Radio Theater, a part of KUNM-FM radio.

In the fall of 1979 did In The Dark, a comic strip for The Daily Lobo (University of New Mexico) Wrote the play Macbeth, P.I. detective to the Middle Ages In late 1979 won a Spanish short story contest given by Northeastern Illinois University - La Entrada - which is the basis for the play The Translated Works of Stephen Watts Kearny and His Army of the West which was first performed July 20, 2002 at the Fourth Annual Hispanic Playwrights Festival hosted by Fort Worth Theatre in Texas. His radio play, Blackbeard’s Tuna, was recorded in November 2005; his one-act play, Shakespeare’s Wife, was performed in Colorado in August, 2006 at the Boulder Acting Group's play festival; his ten-minute play Pirate Bitches of the Caribbean was chosen for the Paw Paw (Michigan) Village Players’ Short Play Contest in February 2007; and his ten-minute play The Coroner was performed November 7, 2008 in Hot Springs, Arkansas for the Southwest Theatre and Film Association’s SWTFA Shorts competition
